Gabriel Gilder is a San Francisco-based artist, composer, and musician. He produces experimental music incorporating electronic elements, field recording, and the aesthetics/artifacts of digital audio processing. He has performed at venues including Adobe Books, Bottom of the Hill, The Starry Plough, Hotel Utah, Hemlock Tavern, Neck of the Woods, Elbo Room, Milk Bar, and The Lucky Horseshoe. He has also collaborated extensively with artist Carey Lin on film and video, animation, sound compositions, publications and interactive walking tours. Their work has been showcased at the San Francisco Independent Short Film Festival, APAture Festival’s Visual Arts Showcase, XMTR Audio Arts Festival, Millennium Film Workshop, and Microscope Gallery.
